Duties and Responsibilities*

  • Direct/Manage all aspects of delegated Production Areas
  • Review processing schedules of production orders to make decisions concerning staffing requirements, work procedures, or duty assignments, considering budgetary limitations and time constraints;
  • Identify and address ongoing training requirements for shop floor personnel to assure products produced meet customer expectations.
  • Coordinate with appropriate functional groups, including Sales, Engineering, and others to resolve problems, expedite materials or processes, and determine priorities;
  • Ensure that all parts, assemblies, and final products are produced on schedule and according to established quality requirements;
  • Proactively handle personnel issues with support from your Manager and Human Resources:
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives;
  • Other duties as assigned.

Tasks

· Read, interpret, and understand schematics including component and symbol recognition.

· Utilizing schematic, plan electrical assembly and wiring sequence.

· Follow electrical schematic for build and wiring. Builds and wiring may include electrical junction boxes, line connections, stop buttons, push buttons, safety switches, outlets, electrical motors, variable frequency drives, plc’s, electrical sub-assemblies, and other electrical units.

· Build and wire electrical control boxes and panels.

· Wire complete machines and systems.

· Properly utilize a variety of hand tools for assembly and wiring.

· Read, interpret, and understand blueprints and drawings including identifying parts to drawing, symbol recognition and material recognition.

· Utilizing drawings plan assembly and build sequence.

· Build assemblies, sub-assemblies, segments of machines and construct/assist in constructing standalone machines and/or large integrated systems.

· Utilize a variety of power and hand tools for assembly.

· Travel to customer locations for installation as required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 per hour

Experience:

  • Assembly: 2 years (Preferred)
  • Mechanical knowledge: 2 years (Preferred)
