Electrical Apprentice
Role: Electrical apprentice/Junior Engineer

Qualifications: Full training provided – Industry experience an advantage

Location: Dundalk/North Louth

Duties & Responsibilities:
In this role you will be exposed to a wide range of areas in the electrical industry providing you with invaluable industry experience. The role includes but is not limited to the following:

➢ Assist in the construction, installation, and commissioning of complex electrical systems

➢ Assist in the workshop constructing complex electrical control systems

➢ Assist with the troubleshooting of complex electrical systems using root cause analysis methodology

➢ Develop a deep understanding of the electrical technology we construct and install, including our work practices and operational procedures, including a commitment to continuous improvement

The following is a list of essential attributes and experience required for this role:

➢ Excellent interpersonal, communication and team working skills

➢ Ability to work on your own initiative where required

➢ Enthusiastic, positive, and proactive nature with a can-do attitude

➢ The ability to demonstrate good work practices including time keeping, quality and safety awareness

➢ Current valid manual handling certificate

➢ Current valid safe pass certificate

Desirable Experience:
The following is a list of desirable experience which would assist you in this role:

➢ Workshop – Site experience

➢ Hands-on electrical/control panel wiring experience

➢ Current valid MEWP working at heights certificate

Job Type: Apprenticeship

Salary: Up to €21,000.00 per year

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Dundalk, County Louth: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Education:

• Leaving Certificate (required)

Experience:

• Electrical: 1 year (preferred)

Language:

• English (required)

Licence/Certification:

• Driving Licence (required)
• Safepass Card (required)
• MEWP Licence (preferred)
