Position: Electrical Project Engineer

Department: Electrical Engineering

Direct Report To: Director – Electrical Engineering

Primary Location: Dublin, Ohio

Manufacturing Location: Bellefontaine, Ohio

PowerBuilt is a turn-key material handling systems integrator. Our growing engineering team is seeking a qualified Senior Electrical Project Engineer to join our electrical engineering department as the company continues to expand and grow.

Responsibilities

· Provide technical electrical controls expertise

· Provide lead engineer guidance on small size projects

· Provide guidance for internal and external resources throughout a project

· Provide electrical control system and panel design

· Provide PLC, HMI, and Robot programming on various platforms

· Provide startup and commissioning services for projects

Requirements

· 4+ Years of Electrical Controls design experience

· Ability to work independently or in small teams

· Ability to travel up to 20% per year primarily in the United States

· Ability to work in a factory and "job shop" environment

· Excellent communication skills

· Great organizational skills with the ability to multi-task

· High attention to detail

· Working Knowledge of electrical codes (NEC, NFPA 79, UL508A)

· Working Knowledge of safety standards (OSHA 1910)

· High Competency with Microsoft products

· Bachelor’s degree within electrical engineering discipline -OR-

· Associates degree with 2+ years of manufacturing experience

Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
