Position: Electrical Engineer

Location: Mossville , IL.

Job Responsibilities :

• Test electronics and software, investigate issues, execute a prioritized work list from lead engineers.
• Create test plans, execute test plans, document test results, share/present test results.
• Setup and troubleshoot test benches including harnessing, ECMs, sensors, valves, and test equipment.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong documentation skills
• Proficient in the use of lab test equipment familiarity (scopes, meters, power supplies, etc.), and relative experience with data analysis
• Ability to create and execute electronic test plans relative to Engine or Power System ECM (electronic control module), software, actuators, sensors, injectors, and harnessing.
• Ability to apply principles of electrical theory to engineering projects.

Education/Experience :

• Bachelor's degree in engineering required.
• 2-4 years’ experience required

Work environment:

• Office, lab, and engine test cell.

• Internship does not count toward 2-4 years experience

Technical Skills (Required)

• Proficient with Vector tools: CANape and CANalyzer

• Ability to work independently and manage time.
• Ability to troubleshoot issues due to test equipment, engineering tools, harnessing, bench setup

Job Type: Contract

Salary: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
