A global automotive manufacturing company is looking for a Process Engineer.

Responsibilities:

• Developing, planning and implementing process and/or equipment improvements and evaluates results.
• Analyzing and resolving work problems, as well as assisting workers in solving work problems.
• Assisting with the development of new products and routings for all new prototypes and products.
• Review of engineering drawings or specifications to ascertain procedures, process standards, process capability, or tooling requirements to meet form and function, using engineering skills.
• Reviewing or planning project instructions and specifications to identify, modify, design, or develop requirements for fabrication, assembly, and testing.
• Performing technical writing and document control including drawing, update schedules for various projects, record-keeping for new devices and systems and provide procedures, work instructions and forms as required.
• Contributes to the Improvement of Processes and Procedures by coordinating activities with the Process Engineering Manager, Manufacturing Director, Managers, and Supervisors to minimize effects on production.
• Suggesting changes in production conditions and the use of equipment to increase the efficiency of production or prototype parts.
• Initiating or suggesting plans to motivate workers to achieve work goals.
• Providing ongoing suggestions to processes and procedures.
• Performing root cause analysis of customer complaints or defective products to eliminate failure modes within the production process or improve process capability.
• Supports Company Functions by assisting in developing and writing work instructions and procedures for the Manufacturing Department; by coordinating any outside procurement of outside contract work with the Process Engineering Manager, Manufacturing Director, Managers, and Supervisors, including writing scope of work, specifications, schedule, quotation and payment before projects are considered.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field OR 2 years related experience in the automotive industry.

Pay: $55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
