The Manufacturing Electrical Engineer works on an interdisciplinary engineering team to design, implement, and validate cost-effective methods of configuring and testing products, systems, and equipment. More specifically, this position will focus on the manufacture and test of utility metering products.
Position Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and sustain configuration/test methods for the manufacture of products.
  • Develop and maintain test stations and fixtures with associated controls hardware.
  • Develop and maintain Custom C# and C++ software applications which control manufacturing processes.
  • Maintain databases (such as MS-SQL) to support manufacturing processes.
  • Optimize manufacturing processes by monitoring existing streams of data, understanding what makes an ideal process, and learning when to respond when processes fall out of standards.
  • Continuous improvement of quality, cycle time, and reliability of production equipment through hardware and/or software modifications.
  • Documentation of processes, equipment, and products as needed.
  • Project leadership and management opportunities may be assigned in accordance with departmental needs.

Experience: 0-5 Years - Experience Preferred but not required, Strong Entry-level Applicants will be considered.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related discipline.
Required

  • Understanding of electrical circuit design
  • Knowledge of hardware and software integration
  • Experience collaborating in cross-functional teams
  • Professional workplace communication skills

Preferred

  • Ability to code in C# and C++
  • Experience with databases (i.e. MS-SQL)
  • Related academic or work experience
  • Advanced technical skills

Travel: 1 - 10%
