Job description

We are looking for an Electrician for a Laundry located in Mayo, Accommodation can be provided in the work area.

Repairs and maintains washers, driers, extractors, condensers, pumps, blowers, presses, and other laundry equipment: Operates, examines, and dismantles equipment to diagnose cause of malfunction.

• Repairs or replaces parts, using hand tools and measuring instruments.
• Replaces components, such as bearings, motors, and micro switches.
• Replaces faulty sections of pipe, valves, and fittings, using plumbing tools.
• Dismantles steam traps and removes sediment.
• Removes face plate from equipment to clean out dust and lint.
• Replaces worn or torn padding’s, roll covers.
• Lubricates machines and equipment, using grease gun and oil cans.
• May order spare parts

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: €18.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

• County Mayo: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

• Electrician: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

• C19 Induction (preferred)
• Manual Handling Certificate (preferred)
• Safe Pass (preferred)
