MacLean Equipment USA (subsidiarity of MacLean Engineering & Marketing Co Limited “MEMCO”) is looking for an Electrician with Battery Electrical Equipment Experience to join our team. As an Electrician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment in battery electric vehicles.

• Perform routine maintenance and repair of electrical systems in battery electric equipment such as trucks, loaders, and drilling equipment.
• Install and upgrade electrical components, including batteries, charging systems, and motors, in accordance with manufacturer specifications and safety protocols.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues in equipment and provide effective solutions to minimize downtime.
• Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with company safety policies and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repairs performed, including work orders and parts used.

About You: The successful candidate(s) must be able to lead a team, willing to learn, open-minded and flexible, organized and detail oriented, team oriented, disciplined, and must have a positive attitude, along with any one of the following qualifications:

Experience

• Electrician license
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in electrician or related role.
• Experience working with battery electric equipment, specifically on mining or heavy equipment is preferred.
• Strong technical knowledge of electrical systems and components, including circuit breakers, motors, and transformers.
• Familiarity with safety protocols and regulations related to electrical work.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and drawings.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
