The Space and Defense Group in Salt Lake City, UT is looking for an Electro-Mechanical Assembler Level II on 2nd shift to join our Production Team.
9/80 work week – off work every other Friday
2nd shift hours are
- 3:30 PM to 1:00 AM Monday-Thursday
- 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM every other Friday

Electro-Mechanical Assembler II’s important responsibilities:
- Perform mechanical work by assembling equipment following specified procedures in an assembly line
- Read and comprehend instructions and follow established procedures
- Use basic hand tools, sockets, screwdriver, torque tools, wrenches
- Keep records of production quantities and time
- Report on issues, malfunction or defective parts
- Prepare work to be accomplished by studying assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, and parts lists; gather parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials
- Positions parts and subassemblies by using templates or reading measurements
- Assemble components by examining connections for correct fit; fasten parts and subassemblies
- Verify specifications by measuring completed component
- Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results
We'll be looking for you to have the following:
- High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
- 3 or more years of experience in a related industry
- Experience with mechanical controls
- Experience with Electro-Mechanical Assembly
- Basic/Intermediate computer skill
- Technical knowledge and ability to read blueprints, drawings
- Able to work on 2nd shift hours
