Under general supervision of program executives, candidate is responsible for the basic functions of the expanded learning program.

• Oversee enrichment program and manage a team of program instructors
• Co-create lesson plans with directors and lead students in enrichment course content (20:1)
• Program management: records, attendance, schedule etc.
• Collaborate/communicate with program executives and school personell

Candidate must work well under pressure, think creatively, and must be great at multitasking. It is an excellent position for a recent graduate and/or someone desiring a career in education. We are seeking long-term candidates to grow with our organization and provide quality education to our students in these areas of focus: academics, athletics and enrichment. General Description:

Working on elementary school campuses, BASE Programs is an expanded learning program that provides quality enrichment opportunities to elementary aged students during non-school hours. We are a curriculum-based program with a focus on STEM, Visual & Performing Arts and Physical Education. In collaboration with Oceanside Unified SchoolDistrict, we provide expanded learning programs at 7 elementary schools in Oceanside.

Essential Duties:

Assist in the preparation and implementation of monthly lesson plans. Lead class of 20:1 ratio in age appropriate lessons. Program coordination with school faculty and BASE team. Provide quality interaction with students, teachers and parents.

Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree (in progress or received). Experience working with school aged students.

Upon Hire:

First Aid/CPR Certification (immediately thereafter), LiveScan background clearance (immediately thereafter), mandated reporter training
