Basic Qualifications:
*Must have the ability to obtain and maintain DoD Secret Security Clearance (US Citizenship required) to be considered for this position*

• Bachelor Degree or higher in an Engineering field such as Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related degree, or equivalent experience/combined education
• Embedded software development experience preferably microcontroller based and/or single board computers
• Experience with real-time operating systems (RTOS) and/or bare metal programming.
• Proficiency in C/C++
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
• The ability to understand, resolve, and communicate both technical and process issues
• Demonstrated experience with software architecture and software design documents.

Desired Skills:

• Familiarity with embedded integrated development environments like Keil, Code Composer Studio, MPLabX, etc. and debugging tools
• Board bring-up
• Electronics test equipment like power supplies, oscilloscopes, and multimeters
• Agile software development experience
• Experience with version control systems (Git/Subversion)
• Graphical user interface (GUI) development, LabView/C#
• Understanding of basic electronics to read and interpret schematics.
• Other desired skills include knowledge of directed energy applications specifically focused on control loops, beam control components, video sensor controls, and target tracking experience.
