Basic Qualifications:
*Must have the ability to obtain and maintain DoD Secret Security Clearance (US Citizenship required) to be considered for this position*
- Bachelor Degree or higher in an Engineering field such as Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related degree, or equivalent experience/combined education
- Embedded software development experience preferably microcontroller based and/or single board computers
- Experience with real-time operating systems (RTOS) and/or bare metal programming.
- Proficiency in C/C++
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
- The ability to understand, resolve, and communicate both technical and process issues
- Demonstrated experience with software architecture and software design documents.
- Familiarity with embedded integrated development environments like Keil, Code Composer Studio, MPLabX, etc. and debugging tools
- Board bring-up
- Electronics test equipment like power supplies, oscilloscopes, and multimeters
- Agile software development experience
- Experience with version control systems (Git/Subversion)
- Graphical user interface (GUI) development, LabView/C#
- Understanding of basic electronics to read and interpret schematics.
- Other desired skills include knowledge of directed energy applications specifically focused on control loops, beam control components, video sensor controls, and target tracking experience.
