Position Summary

The Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) provides quality patient care in the out-of-hospital setting, including assessment of illness and/or injury, administering emergency care, and transportation services. Responds within the scope of training under operational guidelines and physician medical control.

Selection Criteria:

• Current registration as an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) with the National Registry of EMT’s
• Current certification as an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) with the MN EMSRB
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification as an instructor or provider (or obtain within 90 days of start date), company paid
• Current state-issued driver’s license (with acceptable driving history)

EMS providers are required to pass a post-offer physical screen which includes the essential functions that an employee must be able to perform, with or without a reasonable accommodation, in order to be qualified for the job.

Schedule:

• Flexible .3 - 1.2 FTE options in-line with 12-hour shift requirement
• Every other weekend
• Holidays as scheduled
