In everything we do, we strive to lead the way to a lifetime of full equity, inclusion, and access.We are looking for an Employee Benefits Coordinator to join our Easterseals NH, VT & Farnum team! The individual in this key position will be responsible for the following:
- Serve as support to Benefits office.
- Proficiency and understanding of all company benefits, company policies and procedures, as well as a working knowledge of Federal and State laws.
- Enroll new employees in benefit plans and process COBRA, terminations, changes in status and additional claims.
- Provide on-going education and resources for benefit plans through orientation and individual meetings.
- Provide health vendors with appropriate documentation for employee enrollments.
- Assist with Agency-wide annual open enrollment including information sessions and assisting with enrollment.
- Reconcile and audit monthly insurance bills to ensure proper payment and coverage.
- Build effective relationships, offer excellent customer service with employees, and liaise between employees and health providers to explain information on plans, address issues and assist with matters involving sensitive employee information.
- Interface with Finance, Senior Leadership, Accounting and Payroll on key benefits initiatives.
- Professionally prepare information, reports and other materials for meetings, presentations, mailings and other requests.
- Provide office support to Occupational Health and Wellness teams.
- Associate’s Degree, Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- Minimum five (5) years’ experience in Human Resources, Benefits or related business field and experience with database management required
- Computer proficiency required; knowledge of Dayforce and Microsoft Office preferred
- Excellent organization and communication skills as well as the ability to handle confidential information
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Hours: 8:30am-5:00pm, full-time 40 hours per week
