Summary:
Deployed Services is looking for a talented communicator and employee engagement enthusiast to serve as Employee Communications Manager. This position will be based in Greensboro, North Carolina, and requires fluency in both English and Spanish.
Reporting to the Senior Director of Employee Communications, this position will be responsible for helping to develop, manage, and lead employee engagement and communications efforts for a fast-growing professional services company.
Essential Functions:
- Serve as site lead for roll-out of the organization’s overall employee engagement strategy
- Work closely with Site leadership and HR teams to plan creative and inspiring employee engagement activities
- Collaborate with leadership, Site Manager, and HR team on best approach to culture-building and employee engagement
- Manage on-site employee-focused initiatives that help to strengthen the company culture
- Build and manage knowledge-focused events, including virtual and site-based “town halls” and special trainings, and social events, including family days and team BBQs
- Support effective information flow to on-site employees, including the dissemination of information about career development opportunities and company resources
- Collaborate with peers at other sites to share ideas and best practices and to develop multi-site employee engagement initiatives
- Proactively explore new opportunities, systems, and processes that help employees connect in ways that enhance their workplace experience
- Support site tours by external stakeholders
- Other duties as assigned
Knowledge and Skills:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Passion for employee communications and a positive workplace culture

Education and Experience:
- College degree, required
- 5+ years of experience in communications or HR fields
- 3+ years of supervisory experience
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
- Must pass a drug test, motor vehicle record check and a background check after accepting a conditional offer of employment.
