Vocational/Employment Specialist

Circare has been providing person-centered Employment and Educational Services for more than 15 years. At Circare, we understand the importance that employment and education can play in the well-being of any individual. We support and help individuals who may have a physical and/or mental disability or are struggling with a substance abuse disorder. Our goal is to help our clients achieve their employment and educational goals.

Responsibilities

· Able to work in a Hybrid environment

· Help clients with Job search, writing resumes, covers letter etc.

· Help clients meet educational goals and needs

· Work in a community setting

· Work independently

· Address barriers to employment and education

· Work with people with disabilities, mental health diagnosis and or substance abuse

· Be able to develop and understands person centered plans and evidence-based practice

· Provide services to Access-VR, Ticket to Work, HCBS and CORE clients

Qualifications

· Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Human Services, Rehabilitation Counselor, Education or related field

· Must have own personal vehicle, valid driver’s license, and valid insurance

· Must be able to pass the suitability background check for the Ticket to Work program

· Must have good computer skills, knowledge of Microsoft 365/Suite, Teams

· Must have good written and communication skills

· Circare’s insurance carrier requires that Circare employees who drive personal vehicles for work maintain minimum auto insurance coverage limits of at least $100,000/person; $300,000/accident and that employees provide HR with proof of current minimum insurance coverage (copy of Auto Liability Insurance Declaration Page) on their first day of employment. Employees are required to provide an updated Auto Liability Insurance Declaration Page to HR by expiration date on Declaration Page.

Preferred Qualifications

· 1-3 years of experience in related field

· Working with people with Mental Health, Substance abuse and or dual Diagnosis

· Knowledge of CORE, HCBS, Ticket to work and Access-VR services.

• 8 hour shift
