Job description

The Energy Performance Engineer is responsible for the management and optimisation of a number of Energy Performance Contracts (EPCs). Working as part of the EPC team, the focus is primarily within the healthcare / pharma sector while providing similar services to the industrial and large commercial sectors also.

This a permanent role in Dublin 15, salary 50,000 - 55,000 doe.

Duties of the Role include;

• Manage the performance of EPCs through analysis and review of the system performance.
• Works closely with the EPC team to identify energy performance priorities and improvements.
• Working with the EPC team to develop and design alternative operational solutions as add ons to existing projects.
• Anticipates energy performance problems through analysing energy performance targets, system limitations and monitoring system performance.
• Improves energy system performance through re-design recommendation; contributing information and opinion to unit design and bid teams.
• Strategic contribution through analysis and summary of energy performance data and trends.
• Regular energy related communications with key contract stakeholders;

Required Skills for this role;

• Degree in Engineering or Degree in Energy Systems (or similar) or equivalent professional experience;
• 3+ years experience in a similar role would be preferable;
• Ability to identify and quantify energy-saving opportunities in the industrial and commercial sectors
• Knowledge and experience in energy modelling, energy performance analysis would an advantage.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: Up to €55,000.00 per year
