To join our team as an Energy Efficiency Technician! You will act as a local on-site program and company representative to residential customers. You would be educating power utility customers on Energy Waste Reduction. Can you think of a more timely business?
You will install basic energy-efficient equipment, and inspect customer homes for insulation, air sealing, HVAC equipment and make recommendations for saving energy and money! This position will work directly with our Utility Client's diverse, multi-lingual customer base.

- Be a professional and enjoy customer service
- Be organized and maintain equipment and a company vehicle (good driving record too).
- Climb ladders up to 10’ and lift / carry 50 lbs
- Must posses mechanical aptitude and have experience installing residential HVAC thermostats
- Conduct installation of basic residential energy efficiency upgrades (training will be provided)
- Provide technical advice, guidance, and training on installation, adaptation, configuration, or enhancement in accordance with client specifications (training will be provided)
- Provide input and status updates to program staff regarding project scope, planning, and effectiveness of products. Provide technical expertise to identify, analyze and resolve issues
- Show experience or interest and ability to learn about home construction and HVAC equipment to be an effective educator on the topic

- High school diploma or GED required
- 1-3 years of relevant industry experience preferred
- Relevant industry technical certification/training preferred
- BPI Certified preferred
- Comfortable using computers and various software
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to learn
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
