Job description
Mesquite Independent School District is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Coordinator-Family and Community Engagement. The appointee will report directly to the Assistant Superintendent of Partnerships and Strategic Initiatives. The appointee will establish a unified and comprehensive program to support family and community engagement across Mesquite ISD. The appointee will develop partnerships and collaborative efforts to ensure programs and services maximize the use and effectiveness of program elements and personnel for the benefit of all learners in the school district community.
Qualifications:
Master's Degree required as well as a valid Texas Administrator Certificate
Preference will be given to applicants who:
- have at least 3 years of experience as a campus or department leader
- demonstrate strong communication and organizational skills
- Bilingual: Preferred (English & Spanish)
- have experience serving diverse students and populations
- possess knowledge of the needs of special student populations
- have experience with budget requirements from both local funds and Title 1 funding sources
- possess the ability to organize and analyze data
- demonstrate effective oral, written, presentation and interpersonal communication skills

Salary: Pay Range: Administrative Pay Grade 4;$82,000 - $103,000; 226 days
Employment begins: July 1, 2023
