The position

By joining our team in Marketing, Midstream & Processing you will have the opportunity to:

  • Provide professional input and support for modifications, projects, plant shutdowns and audit shutdowns.

  • Contribute and following up with vendors in projects.

  • Contribute to detail engineering in modifications.

  • Contribute to robustness and modernization.

  • Be innovative and work in accordance with current. requirements, guidelines and industry standards.

  • Contribute to technical support for operation and maintenance.

  • Update and prepare documentation and specifications within the subject.

  • Managing risk and HSE in design.

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in automation or similar discipline.

  • Experience in telecommunications, preferably with experience in automation.

  • Good communication skills in English and Scandinavian, both written and oral.

  • System understanding within the telecom subject with knowledge of e.g. CCTV, PAGA, UHF/VHF radio.

  • Knowledge of infrastructure such as cabling (fibre and CAT), wireless communication.

  • Preferably with network knowledge.

  • Team player with the ability to work in a multidisciplinary environment.

  • Is good at organizing own work both in terms of time and in relation to documentation.

  • Willingness to relocate or travel to the Mongstad office several days a week.
