The Engineering Aide will be part of the System Engineering supporting Moorestown, NJ Aegis operations for the engineering staff. The aide will perform administrative, data entry and technical tasks as directed by functional management and supervisory project execution of technical assignments, final product preparation, and the administrative tasks required for delivery. The engineering aide will preform database entry as well as assist with configuration management of multiple databases. The engineering aide will also support meetings as well as collect various metrics and status for compilation into status charts. The engineering aide will also support managing I&T cost accounts using Earned Value Management to status program cost/technical/schedule.
Basic Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED.

• Proficient in MS Office suite, including developing and maintaining databases. Experience utilizing various ERP systems and/or computer technology/ software.

• Ability to acquire and maintain a Secret Security clearance.

Desired Skills:

• Experience installing and evaluating COTS Software Products and Tools

• Desire to learn Linux System Administration

• Desire to learn windows System Administration

• Technical orientation and proven track record to learn technical concepts.

• Experience with technical document writing/editing and requirements management tools.

• Technical training that can support engineers in the development laboratory testing software, etc. SW development experience.

Organizational skills and detail oriented along with excellent social skills to be a great teammate.

• Excellent interpersonal and writing intense communication skills.

• Proven ability to work in a team collaborative environment.

• Previous STEM coursework.

• STEM Two-Year Degree Highly Desired

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
