Engineering Department
Engineering & CMMS Administrator (two positions available)
An opportunity exists to work in a CMMS (Computerised Maintenance Management System) Technical Support role within the Engineering Department.
Main Areas of Responsibility
The following are some of the key elements of the role:
  • Performs day to day data entry and analysis within the CMMS system i.e. creating / maintaining Instrument / Equipment records and updating Preventative Maintenance and Calibration PM schedules
  • Processing & filing CMMS related documentation in a GMP manner e.g. Calibration & Inspection records, Instruments & Equipment records, Change Controls, etc.
  • Providing audit support / self-auditing of preventative maintenance and calibration system
  • Maintains / Updates work instructions and selected standard operating procedures (SOPs) for the CMMS and associated work processes
  • Raising Department Purchase Orders (e.g. Service Contracts, Projects)
  • Maintain the department Time Management System (TMS)
  • Helps maintain documents in a SharePoint-based document management system and other electronic document management systems
  • Participates and/or leads CMMS user group meetings and communicates with end users
  • Training personnel in data entry, work order data entry and reporting for CMMS
  • Function as the technical interface between reliability, maintenance, operations, projects and personnel e.g. review of equipment data set up requests for entry onto CMMS
  • Applies knowledge of assets and work processes to define opportunities and drive continuous improvement in maintenance and reliability e.g. PM optimisation
  • Subject matter expert to resolve usability issues, address technical questions and maximize the potential of CMMS as a tool i.e. serves as CMMS liaison for problem solving and escalation
Knowledge and Experience:
Requirement to have strong skill set in Documentation Control and a proficiency in IT applications (preferably EAMS & Ariba) is a requirement. The successful candidate will be highly motivated and be able to demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills, as well as possessing problem solving and decision-making abilities.
Interested Candidates would preferably have an engineering related qualification or related experience, and should have experience of working in a Pharmaceutical / Audit ready environment.
