Responsibilities:

The AMD Xilinx University Program, part of the Adaptive and Embedded Computing Group (formerly Xilinx) in AMD, is seeking an intern with experience developing FPGA-based hardware and embedded software applications with Xilinx development tools to work in our group located in Dublin, Ireland for a period of 6-12 months. This is an exciting position working on the latest FPGA hardware and software technologies from Xilinx, including the Zynq System-on-Chip and Zynq Ultrascale+ MPSOC, Versal, Vivado and Vitis design software, and PYNQ framework.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

  • Support creation and updating of XUP training materials, including labs, demos, design examples and application notes
  • Provide technical support to XUP events, including workshops and hackathons, and manage online support

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

  • Bachelor or Masters student in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Science/Engineering, or related degrees.
  • Good knowledge of digital circuit design
  • Good knowledge of C/C++ and Python programming
  • Familiarity with Xilinx FPGA and system design tools
  • Excellent communication, teamwork & problem-solving skills
