POSITION: English/Language Arts InstructorREPORTS TO: Principal, Eastland Career CenterAPPLICATION DEADLINE: Open until position is filledSTARTING DATE: August 2023QUALIFICATIONS: Successful applicants must hold a valid high school teaching certificate/license in English for grades 11 & 12; Qualifications to teach College Credit Plus and Reading Endorsements are preferred; Successfully pass a BCI/FBI background check.RESPONSIBILITIES: The English/Language Arts Instructor will teach English/Language Arts to 11th and 12th grade students enrolled in career/technical programs. The Instructor will develop lesson plans that make connections between content and real world applications. They will collaborate with instructional staff and work in a team environment.
