The Enterprise Administrative Support Coordinator is responsible for providing administrative support to the Executive Committee and the strategic vision of the organization. This role will provide support for administrative and coordination tasks cross-functionally and interact with all levels of the organization.
The Enterprise Administrative Support Coordinator will report to the Sr. Director, Planning and Support.
UMA is a nonprofit healthcare educational institution with a national presence. Headquartered in Tampa, Florida and founded in 1994, UMA offers content-rich, interactive online programs as well as hands-on training at our Clearwater, Florida campus.

Anticipated starting salary of $50,000; pay rate negotiable based on experience and qualifications.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provides administrative support to the Executive Committee and in alignment of the strategic vision of the organization through, but not limited to:
- Scheduling, organizing, and helping to facilitate necessary meetings in accordance to meeting best practices, including sending invites and agendas, taking and distributing meeting minutes, and following up on action items
- Organizing any onsite meetings when requested
- Coordinating and scheduling travel when requested
- Reconciling expenditures and managing budget tracking
- Maintain confidentiality on all aspects of role and escalating areas for feedback on confidential items beyond reporting line to Vice President, Office of Transformation or the Executive Vice President, Workforce Transformation.
- Other duties as assigned by the Sr. Director, Planning and Support or Vice President, Office of Transformation.
- Demonstrates knowledge of, and carefully follows all applicable federal and state compliance requirements and regulations including those prescribed by the Department of Education, accrediting agencies, CIE, and internal UMA policies and procedures.
- Effectively communicates compliance requirements to students and other staff as appropriate and quickly escalates any compliance concerns to the Compliance department.
Work Experience, Skills & Abilities:
Minimum Requirements:
- Associates Degree
- Experience in an operational/support or administrative capacity.
- Experience with MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.) and other business tools such as Microsoft Teams and Skype.
- Self-starter who works well in a complex, fast-paced, demanding and constantly changing environment.
- Strong communication skills; able to communicate both verbally and in writing and be comfortable communicating with all levels, internally and externally.
- Strong organizational skills, including follow-up and attention to detail.
- Ability to multi-task and handle a high-pressure environment with timeline pressures.
- Excellent interpersonal, influencing and presentation skills.
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed.
- Requires long periods of sitting at a desk working on a computer
- Requires occasional bending, stooping and squatting
- Requires occasional lifting of up to 10 lbs.
