Summary
As the Enterprise Application Analyst you will administer equity trading, portfolio accounting, and back office systems in support of our core investment management operations. You will lead day-to-day management and support of these systems and work closely with stakeholders to ensure the success of longer-term implementation and upgrade projects. You will work closely with a team of database administrators, application developers, server administrators, and IT department management to gain competency in assigned applications and serve as subject matter expert. You will work closely with an Information Technology (IT) team which includes user support staff, system administrators, reporting specialists, database administrators, and application developers.
This position will:
· Ensure availability, security, and performance of assigned applications
o Monitor performance of systems and data exchange jobs
o Administer application configuration and user accounts
o Lead user support efforts and handle escalated issues
o Perform upgrades and apply software patches
o Engage with end users and software vendors to address issues
o Provide technical advice and support to end users
o Research and advocate for security and data protection best practices
o Adhere to established system change management and control processes
· Manage application-related projects
o Lead system upgrade, new implementation, and migration projects
o Coordinate project tasks with internal stakeholders and IT staff
o Design and coordinate comprehensive project test plans
o Provide leadership assistance and support in working with implementation partners
· Analyze, document, and identify areas for system improvements
o Develop and maintain system documentation and data flow diagrams
o Collaborate with IT management in strategic planning, policy creation, and procedure development
o Conduct user research, process audits, and other analyses to identify opportunities for improvement
o Work with IT staff to identify opportunities for system, interface, and process improvement
You must possess the following:
· Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field (related experience may be considered)
· Four years of experience in IT
· Proficiency in Microsoft Windows environments and MS Office (Excel, Word, Visio)
· Understanding of client/server architectures and database connectivity (including web-based applications)
· Experience with virtual application delivery systems (Citrix XenApp preferred)
· Technical understanding of server/network infrastructure and communication
· Strong organizational, technical planning, and analytical skills
· Excellent communication skills including the ability to present technical information to a non-technical audience
· Experience in troubleshooting, debugging, and obtaining vendor technical support
· Experience with direct end-user support in a customer service role
· Self-motivation and a desire for continuous skills and process improvement
· Ability to work in a team environment, collaborating well with employees, management, users, vendors, contractors
· Ability to undertake duties and tasks as assigned without close supervision
· Ability to manage multiple tasks supporting business as usual, user requests, as well as ongoing projects
It would be great if you have experience with:
· Scripting with Powershell or equivalent (Visual Basic, Python, Perl, etc.)
· Writing SQL queries, working with MS SQL Server and reporting systems
· MS Windows Server administration
· MS Active Directory administration and access management concepts

Pay: From $80,000.00 per year
