Thermo King Northeast currently has a full-time Entry-Level Installer opening at our location in Norton, MA. We are seeking a self-motivated individual that is willing to learn and advance in the technical field of transport refrigeration. You will perform installation of refrigeration units for trucks and trailers as well as the installation of air and hydronic heaters and auxiliary power units (i.e. refrigeration, air-conditioning, heating). Experience is preferred but not required. On the job training will be provided.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Mount compressor, condenser, and other components in specified locations on frames
• Lay out reference points for installation of structural and functional components, using measuring instruments
• Lift and align components into position, using hoist and jacks
• Fabricate and assemble structural and functional components of refrigeration system
• Drill holes and install mounting brackets and hangers
• Some warehouse assistance as well as parts delivery will be required

Position Requirements:

• High school diploma, technical school or equivalent
• Owns & maintains the proper hand tools to perform job functions
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Ability to pass a background check and drug test
