(full-time, hourly)
ASIC Corporation, a West Chester, Ohio based motion control distributor & systems integration firm, is now accepting resumes for experienced Panel Assembly Electricians. We are a growing company offering career opportunities for candidates looking to gain experience in many diverse industries and a multitude of industrial processes including automotive, power, consumer goods, medical, military, paper and steel, just to name a few.
This posting is for entry level electricians who have some industry experience but maybe not a lot with panel assembly. Our team will train you to safely and efficiently assemble electrical control panels. The goal being, to bring your skills up to a level where you would feel comfortable completing jobs independently. Related assembly or electrical trade experience is required to qualify for this position.

Minimum Qualifications:
- High school education or equivalent.
- Some related assembly or electrical trade experience.
- Detail oriented, self starter who's eager to learn.
- Must bring your own tools (drill, wire strippers, screw drivers, etc.)
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assemble electrical systems by installing components, subassemblies, and wiring to UL 508a standards.
- Cable harness assembly, cutting, stripping, pinning and terminating wires
- Read and interpret schematic drawings, diagrams, blueprints, specifications, work orders, or reports to determine materials requirements or assembly instructions.
- Performs any assembly-type functions, using hand, power tools, equipment and testing instrumentation.
- Record production data such labor time and quantities using ERP system.
- Clean and maintain equipment, machinery, and work stations on a daily basis.
The preferred candidate will possess the following technical experience:
- Able to read and understand electrical and mechanical blueprints, production/assembly instructions, parts lists, verbal instruction and notes to assemble, wire and install a wide variety of components.
- Field experience with commissioning, wiring and starting up electrical control systems.
- Experience with soldering wires/ pins.
