Ramboll is seeking a highly motivated Consultant to join the Pacific Northwest Business Unit (Seattle, Washington). Successful candidates will have a B.S. or M.S. in a relevant engineering discipline (chemical, civil, or environmental) or in a relevant science discipline (geology or chemistry) and interest in conducting environmental site assessments and evaluation of site contamination data.

You will join our Pacific Northwest Business Unit
As our new Consultant, you will be part of a team of scientists and engineers located in Seattle, Washington.
Your key tasks and responsibilities will be:
- Participation with other technical staff in a fast-paced, dynamic work setting.
- Assist in the review of environmental site assessment reports to assess known or potential site contamination concerns and provide technical analysis of contamination concerns.
- Participate in the development of site investigation programs, and conduct field work to implement site investigation activities (up to ~25% of time conducting field work).
- Prepare concise reports that assess environmental impacts, potential environmental liabilities, and remedial options.
- Assist with data visualization and analysis using GIS.
- Support multiple projects and meet high quality standards on project deliverables.
- Support Ramboll’s West Coast due diligence and site solutions teams by assisting in projects in the PNW as well as other western US states.

- B.S. or M.S. in a relevant engineering discipline (chemical, civil, or environmental) or in a relevant science discipline (geology or chemistry).
- Interest in conducting environmental assessments at a variety of commercial or industrial sites.
- Experience with ESRI ArcGIS and EarthSoft EQuIS software programs is preferred.
- Academic experience that provides a basis of understanding the importance of environmental regulations.
- Strong technical skills and experience or interest in writing technical reports.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

- Multi-tasking on numerous technical projects while maintaining flexibility, particularly in a dynamic work setting.
- Excellent writing skills and knowledge of GIS or other data interpretation/visualization software.
- Working independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability and desire to work in a collaborative environment with other technical experts locally, or in other offices.
- Willingness to travel occasionally (including trips involving one to two overnights). Up to 25% of work may involve travel.

Salary Transparency Statement
At Ramboll, your base pay is only part of your overall total compensation package. At the time of this posting, this role is likely to be compensated at an annual base salary between $60,000 and $75,000. Actual pay may be more or less than the posted range, depending on numerous factors, including experience, geographical location, internal equity, market conditions, education/training and skill level, and does not include bonuses, overtime, or other forms of compensation or benefits.
