Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for an Entry-Level Supply Base Management Specialist to join our Integrated Air and Missile Defense (IAMD) Program in Huntsville, Alabama.

Position Responsibilities:

• Assists in the development and implementation of supplier project plans to meet program requirements and financial goals.
• Gathers data to identify areas of risk, issues and improvement opportunities.
• Participates in managing supplier/subcontractor business relationships, in-service requirements and performance to contractual obligations and expectations.
• Gathers and reviews data for use in supplier performance evaluations.
• Identifies and communicates potential risks and issues.
• Provides support in the development of mitigation plans.
• Deploys operating authority to improve product delivery and quality performance.
• Supports the development and implementation of supplier project plans.

This position is hybrid. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.

This position is for 1st shift.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• Experience working directly with suppliers or supplier management.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Bachelor’s degree or higher.
• Experience with MRP (Material Requirements Planning).
• Experience or relevant course work in any of the following: Six Sigma, Lean+, Manufacturing and/or Process Improvement.
• Experience working in a multi-functional team environment.

Typical Education/Experience:

Typically related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.

Relocation:

Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.

Travel:

Position may require travel up to 15% of the time.
