Overview:
Code Red Safety is a technology-focused company that values customer safety. We are seeking a full-time, entry-level System Technician to work on-site and earn an hourly wage. The ideal candidate should possess a solid comprehension of computer systems, software, and hardware. This position will be responsible for configuring and supporting the systems used in client projects and internally, resolving technical problems, and collaborating with the development team to enhance system functionality.
Responsibilities:
- Configure, maintain, and upgrade computer systems, software, and hardware
- Collaborate with development team to improve system functionality through gathering and documenting business requirements
- Respond to internal support inquiries via phone, email, or chat
- Contribute to network design for hardware and software communication
- Provide remote support for systems deployed in the field and resolve technical problems
- Configure and modify scripts and applications
- Work with IT professionals to resolve technical issues related to software, hardware, and networking
Requirements:
- 1+ years of experience in a systems technician or related role
- Proficient in computer hardware and software
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Willing to travel to customer sites and other branches (15%) as needed
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
