ENTRY-LEVEL ELECTRONIC, MECHANICAL, AND ASSEMBLY TECHNICIAN

Looking for a challenging career? We have an immediate opening for an entry level electronic and mechanical assembly technician. If you have what it takes, you can rapidly advance into trouble-shooting, repair and development of hardware, electronics, and software used in nuclear fuel inspection systems.

You'll start off by getting certified to IPC J- STD- 001 for soldering. We'll introduce you to the tools we use: Solidworks, MS Visual Studio, and Altium Designer. We want self starters who will run with what we give them, master them, then look for more.

PREFERRED APPLICANTS WILL HAVE:
  • Excellent communication and computer skills
  • Flexibility to work extended hours, weekends, with comp time
  • Ability to rapidly change tasks in a fast paced, challenging work environment
  • Ability to identify and implement efficient paths of action to complete assigned work

REQUIREMENTS
  • Must have a High school diploma or equivalency certificate
  • Must be a local resident, or able to move. No telecommuting.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Must pass a background check (nuclear fuel customer requirement)
  • Must pass a drug test (nuclear fuel customer requirement)
  • Must be able to use common hand and machine tools and PPE
  • Must have a good command of the English language, verbally and visually.
  • Must not be color blind (able to distinguish electrical color codes)
  • Must be a US citizen eligible for a US passport.
  • Must be able to lift 30 lbs unassisted

WHAT WE OFFER:
  • Full-time (40 hours/week) salaried position, starting at $22/hour.
  • Part-time $15/hour, to right person (school, intern) with intention of moving into full time.
  • Full-time includes: health insurance (after 1 month), accrue paid vacation 1 week per year.

  • Opportunities to travel to support our customers in the US, Europe and Asia
