The successful individual will have the following:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience working in the COMAH and Seveso and Chemical Risk Assessment sector
- Qualification and experience in a specific technical area such as chemistry or engineering
- Membership/Chartership of a recognised Environmental Professional body such as IEMA, IGI, CIWM.
- Experience of undertaking chemical and ATEX risk assessments
- Experience of preparing COMAH compliance Reports
- Excellent report writing skills with good attention to detail
- Full Clean Driving Licence
The duties of the role will include:
- Preparation of COMAH and Seveso compliance reports
- Creation of COMAH land use planning reports
- Formulation and Co-Ordination of chemical and ATEX risk assessments
- Arrangement of HAZID studies
- Liaising with clients, contractors and regulatory representatives
