Where you’ll work…

Located in Milwaukee’s Menomonee River Valley, Villa Palermo is a state-of-the industry manufacturing facility that adjoins our company headquarters.

Our high-tech pizza manufacturing operations include an on-site bakery to produce best-in-class crusts, robotic packaging equipment, and a 24-hour shipping and receiving facility.

When you’ll work…

We are currently hiring experienced Environmental Health & Safety Specialist to join our team. Role will mainly work during 1stshift hours; however, this role includes having a presence building relationships and safety culture across all shifts and occasional weekend availability.

What you’ll do…

Support our production teams by developing and implementing policies or programs that promote employee health and safety or environmental compliance.

Evaluate hazards within the facility and monitor known health, safety, or environmental hazards, to minimize safety risks.

Partners with safety manager and plant leaders implement safety best practices and to facilitate safety training.

Be an effective team member within a multicultural work environment by positively influencing others toward achievement of common safety goals and objectives.

Demonstrate strong knowledge of OSHA regulations to minimize accident and health exposures.

Why you’ll be successful…

Proven ability to interpret OSHA regulations and implement policy and procedure in alignment with OSHA rules and regulations.

Utilizing knowledge from your 3+ years’ experience with environmental health and safety regulations within a manufacturing environment to provide guidance and direction around safety policy and procedure.

Organized and methodical approach to incident investigation.

Designated lifelong learner with a strong interest in maintaining knowledge of safety best practices to implement up-to-date policies.

Team player with excellent communication skills ready to work hard to ensure the whole Palermo’s team succeeds.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $78,000.00 per year
