EOEM MV/LV Solutions Application Engineer
Role Summary:
Schneider Electric has an outstanding opportunity for a highly talented, motivated, solution minded individual for the position of EOEM Solutions Application Engineer. This individual will be responsible to support, develop, and implement our business strategy from a technical aspect. He / she will serve as the technical liaison between Schneider Electric EOEM Sales & Execution and EOEM customers. This Leadership position is a fantastic opportunity to leverage technical expertise across Schneider Electric’s Partner, Industry and Energy business units.
Essential functions/Responsibilities:
- Support EOEM accounts & EOEM sales on valued EOEM projects with technical support.
- Order Engineering for ETO EOEM configurations.
- Technical support the EOEM program for drawings, specifications, UL conversations and technical recommendations or alternatives.
- Provides Product technical information and clarifications as needed for proper selection, application, ordering, while being able to note deviations or exceptions.
- Value Engineering by assisting in designing the best performance/price match of Schneider Electric product for their application.
- Capable of technical product and training presentations with EOEMs and inside teams.
- Acts as a liaison between customers and engineering teams for solving problems that require expertise at a higher technical level.
- Leadership capabilities to help ensure EOEM delivery/lead-times are understood and prioritized.
- Drive technical product conversions from the competition to Schneider Electric products.
- Efficient in digital tools to mentor/train EOEM Sales & Execution personnel and EOEM customers with quotation/bid competencies.
- Collaborate with EOEM Quotation Specialists and/or Offer Managers to brainstorm, develop, standardize existing or new offers.
- Special focus on the competitive advantages of SureSeT™ and EvoPact™ coupled to EcoStruxure™ to gain share and support Medium Voltage business among our panelbuilders.
Experience Requirements:
- Engineering/Technical degree required or equivalent experience
- 10 years within Electrical Distribution experience required
- Solid understanding of Schneider Electric’s complete Electrical Distribution offer (Low Voltage, Medium Voltage and Industry)
- A strong ability to understand complex requirements, able to clearly communicate client needs, challenge the client on solutions, and collaborate with inside teams
- Accountable, self-motivated and proactive
- Autonomous, entrepreneurial & team spirit-oriented
- Strong written and oral communication skills
