THE ROLE

The ESG Compliance Program Manager will support the implementation and management of our global Environmental, Social, Governance (ESG) program by creating, deploying, and operationalizing ESG policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory mandates and reporting requirements. They will be responsible for monitoring current and proposed ESG regulations, collaborating with ESG and Operational teams, and updating policies, procedures, and KPIs accordingly.

The program manager will source ESG data for external reporting and collaborate with Internal Audit, Finance, and external auditors to ensure that all data is fully vetted in advance of publication including external reporting and responses to stakeholder queries.

WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO

  • Report to the VP of Global Ethics & Compliance with a dotted line report to the SVP of Corporate Communications & Social Impact

  • Own creation and deployment of global ESG policies by working closely with the ESG core team, ESG program leads, and shared services teams

  • Monitor and track ESG regulations globally and regionally and identify laws Live Nation will have to comply with

  • Develop regulatory reporting roadmap to demonstrate what Live Nation will need to report on globally and within each market with detailed timelines on data collection requirements

  • Prepare briefings for leadership and advise on when KPIs and policies should be right-sized for upcoming regulations; Develop communications plans to roll out to the business

  • Work across the business to collect required ESG data for public disclosures and vet with finance, internal audit, and external audit to meet reporting deadlines

  • Collaborate with ESG core team to draft and publish annual reports (e.g. CDP, TCFD)

WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING

  • A relevant degree and/or a minimum of 2 years of professional experience in Compliance with emphasis on ESG related fields and total of 5 years of professional experience at a publicly traded company in a related area (will consider relevant legal experience)

  • Experience in environmental, social, or governance issues, corporate sustainability, or related fields.

  • Proven track record of creating, deploying, and operationalizing policies and associated procedures across highly matrixed organizations

  • Working knowledge in the global ESG regulatory landscape and knowledge of impending mandates (e.g. SEC, EU regulations, etc.)

  • Proven track record of effectively driving compliance programs and initiatives across organizations in a collaborative and communicative manner.

  • Strong organizational skills and program management skills – possesses the ability to successfully manage multiple projects/deadlines simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong written and oral communication skills with ability to adapt to different formats (press releases, annual reports, website, etc.)

  • Excellent analytical skills, including proficiency in Excel and comfort working with large, complex data sets.

  • Demonstrated ability to work closely and communicate effectively with a wide variety of internal and external stakeholders

  • A working knowledge of leading ESG frameworks, specifically TCFD and CDP

  • Ability to work with cross functional stakeholders in large global environment spanning multiple time-zones in order to meet organizational goals within deadline

  • Ability to maintain discretion with sensitive and confidential information

The expected compensation for this position in California is:

$80,000.00 USD - $100,000.00 USD
