Sweet Dreams Party Rentals has an exciting opening for two Event Party Stylists for an innovative children’s event planning company in the Middleburg/ Orange Park/Jacksonville, FL area.

This company works with a diverse portfolio of clients across the country and maintains a strong focus on event planning, shipping, marketing, and promotional advertising! Our company has more work than they can currently handle and they have add one new positions within their company to help support the growing company. There is much room for advancement in this company as we grow.

The Event Party Stylist is responsible for delivering, styling, and decorating for our party events. This position is critical in deliveries, order filling, preparing party shipments, decorating events, planning and preparing for party set ups, photoshoots, and tradeshows in the area.

This includes planning, packing, shipping, coordinating, and execution of the party events.

Duties and Responsibilities of the Event Planning Assistant:

  • Coordinate client events. Set Up, Style, Decorate, & Clean Up after client events.
  • Support event planner with pre-event operational planning, client management, and clerical support.
  • Help set up and clean up of events.
  • Coordinate day of event logistics including signage, setup/clean-up, shipping packages, receiving packages, staff duties, transportation, running errands, etc.
  • Will assist in coordinating pre-event details including but not limited to organizing inventory, packaging items, shipping packages, etc.
  • Assist other job duties including customer service, marketing, and development with event preparation.

Planning and Logistics:

  • Manage trade show and event promotions and strategy in conjunction with management.
  • Approach customers during in-field promotional event and offer information on benefits of clients’ products and services, provide customer service support, and act as a liaison between clients and consumers.
  • Assist in setting up on-site tradeshows and event staff.
  • Oversee displays setup for party events/tradeshows and breakdown.
  • Responsible for inventory and displays.
  • Ensure all party events are successful for our clients from beginning to end.

  • Take a responsible role as a team leader
  • Maintain regular & efficient communication.
  • Develop & train new team members as needed

Qualifications of the Event Planning Assistant:

  • Experience in customer service an asset.
  • Must be reliable and able to work Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.
  • Excellent time management and communication skills.
  • Must have reliable transportation. A vehicle is needed for all events, errands, and meet ups.
  • Ability to lead as well as follow and execute instructions effectively.
  • Must be highly organized, self-motivated and able to work independently.
  • Must be solution driven.
  • Must have a clean background check.
  • Must be able to have FUN!

This position is an On-Call/Part-Time position only. Friday - Sunday flexible hours, work from home options are available as needed. The amount of hours will depend on the amount of clients we have each week. All interviewees must be knowledgeable of the company. Hours will vary based on the amount of orders we have for the week. Pay starts at $19/hr and mileage reimbursement is added. This is a growing company with much room for advancement.
