Job description
AIG is looking for an Event Technologist who will manage the Cvent account for our Events teams.
This individual will be responsible for overseeing every aspect of Cvent - including builds of event registration sites, developing applications, providing metrics and reporting on post event activities, etc. The person will also be responsible for overseeing the meeting approval process utilizing Cvent for AIG events.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and project manage online event registration websites. Consult on registration technology process, backend structure, and data management needs
- Liaise with the team on workflow and timeline of the event technology needs from build to launch, communications, registration management, onsite execution, and post-event reconciliation
- Encourage and be knowledgeable of best practices and be proactive with ideas and creative solutions
- Manage event communications such as save-the-dates, invitations, registration confirmations, cancellation confirmations, final details, etc.
- Assist attendees with registration process as needed. Modify registration data and hotel requests as needed. Assist with managing room block pick-up and extension requests
- Create and distribute post event client surveys
- Reporting (response rates /new implications) and analytics and survey results
- Database Management: ensure consistency of information, accurate data, inputting new data when required and generating lists upon request
- Understand integration of Cvent and Salesforce, knowledge of workflow between both systems
- On-site support, as needed, during event execution
- Assist with monitoring and actioning attendee registration inquiries requests in the shared events team email box
- Responsible for registering all meetings in Cvent
- Responsible for pulling reports and manually formatting as needed based on stakeholder’s requirements.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s Degree is required
- 3+ years of related experience in event technology and data management
- Strong working knowledge of Cvent is required (5+ years of experience is preferred)
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel
- Highly motivated, able to work independently
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent written and oral communications
- Customer services oriented
- Some travel may be required

The base salary range for this position is $90,000.00 - $127,000.00 and the position is eligible for a bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable incentive plan. In addition, we’re proud to offer a range of competitive benefits, a summary of which can be viewed here:
