Job Introduction

We are recruiting an Events Manager to join the Rapport team at one of our client sites in Dublin

  • To provide the highest level of service and care to all of our clients guest.
  • To lead, inspire, mentor and coach the events team. The aim is to ensure Rapport provides a first class, professional service to our clients.

Main Responsibilities
The event manager is primarily responsible for booking, coordinating, and managing the use of the Meeting Rooms and Collaboration Spaces across our sites in Dublin. This position also requires the administration of sales, audit performance and profitability objectives.

  • Coordinating the planning and delivery of all aspects for all events, taking complete ownership for each event from the initial enquiry, availability, and diary management through to the delivery and follow up of all bookings.

  • Anticipating project needs, discerns work priorities, and meeting deadlines with little supervision.

  • Directly working with on-site team to prepare and manage events from start to finish, including troubleshooting, equipment problems, and solving technical issues.

  • Arranging food and beverage, order supplies, audio visual equipment, event signage, and ensure appropriate décor (floral, linens, colour schemes, etc.) meet expectations.
The Ideal Candidate

Key requirements of the job are a minimum of 3 years Events experience and a minimum of 2 years Management/Supervisory experience.
