A day in the life – Get ready to think big, work smart and shine bright!
- Managing complex and constantly changing calendars, prioritizing meetings based on importance/urgency and considering need for preparation and travel time.
- Helping prepare the Directors for meetings by proactively gathering/organizing material. Preparing, maintaining, and organizing files, including presentations, correspondence, documents, and other materials, to ensure the Director can retrieve and gain access to necessary materials in an organized manner.
- Supporting executives and high-level managers, and external parties.
- Processing travel requests, updating timesheets, and preparing expense reports for the Director(s). In addition, reviewing expense reports for accuracy prior to Director’s review and approval.
- Coordinating Transmission System Planning and Strategy and Distribution System Planning and Strategy leadership team events/meetings, including all-hands meetings.
- Maintaining confidentiality of sensitive and confidential corporate information.
The essentials
- Four or more years of experience performing advanced administrative, secretarial, and clerical functions.
- Demonstrated experience creating and processing expense reports, invoices, and reconciling credit cards.
- Experience coordinating, scheduling, planning meetings, appointments, conferences and preparing travel arrangements using e-mail and calendaring applications (e.g., Microsoft Outlook).
The preferred
- Intermediate/advanced experience utilizing MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Demonstrated experience interacting and communicating in writing and verbally with all levels of employees, managers, executives and their assistants, and external customers.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, as well as in a team environment, interact effectively and collaboratively with clients, peers, management, and other work units.
- Demonstrated experience planning and organizing multiple assignments, tasks, and projects, and adjusting to changing priorities.

- Work Mode: When a return-to-office date has been determined, this position’s work mode is hybrid. The employee will report to an SCE facility for a set number of days with the option to work remotely on the remaining days. Unless otherwise noted, employees are required to reside in the state of California. Further details of this work mode will be discussed at the interview stage.

Testing
- This position requires testing and applicants who are identified to continue through the selection process will be invited to test via email. Candidates who have previously passed these assessments, in some cases, may not need to retest again for this position.
