Job description
Job Title: Executive Director
Job Functions:
Under the supervision of the CEO and the COO, directs, supervises, and coordinates the overall clinical, medical, and business operations of the company. Participates in the development and administration of policies on clinical, medical, and business operations. Participates in strategic planning, marketing, reputation development, and professionalization of the workforce. Examples of duties include:
● Participates in the development of long-range strategic plans, governance structure, and objectives for practice management.
● Participates in the recruitment and retention of professional and non-professional staff.
● Participates in the establishment and implementation of organizational policies and procedures. Interprets policies, objectives, and operational procedures.
● Participates in the development and implementation of the mission, vision, and values of the Center, including the deliverance of high-quality, patient-focused health care.
● Resolves problems related to staffing, utilization of facilities, equipment, and supplies for the Center.
● Evaluates performance and recommend merit increases, promotion, and disciplinary actions.
● Analyzes and recommends changes in organizational systems, policies, and procedures and ensures their implementation.
● Delegates authority and responsibility as appropriate.
● Participates in professional development activities to keep current with trends and practices in healthcare administration (conferences, journals).
● Participates in the evolution and refinement of the quality improvement process at the Center.
● Undertakes special projects as directed by the CEO and the COO.
Qualification Requirements:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. ● 3-5 years of management experience in the healthcareindustry (behavioral health/addictions preferred).
● Graduate degree in business, healthcare operations/management, or clinical/medical disciplines.
Language Skills:
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret human service periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, and business correspondence, and analyze policies and procedures. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
Computer Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Electronic Health Records; Internet software; Payroll systems; Spreadsheet software, and Word Processing software.

Must have a reasonable ability to do the following:
· Stand, walk and sit during assigned shift hours.
· Have the ability to manually handle patient belongings with gloved hands.
· Be able to manually assess a patient as part of a physical exam.
· Reach, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
· Speak and have access to the special senses within normal limits (hear, taste, smell, etc.) as it applies to patient care.
· Must be capable of lifting up to 20 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
