Experience Audit Associate

The ideal audit candidate has:

· CPE License

· A BA/BS degree in accounting; Master’s degree a plus

· One to five years of public accounting experience with an emphasis in auditing

· Proficiency using Microsoft Excel and Word

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills

· Ability to build relationships, while asking tough questions

· Strong time management and organization skills

· Identify business process risks

The essential functions of this position include, but are not limited to:

· Become proficient at planning and preparing financial statements

· Developing a command of generally accepted accounting principles (“GAAP”), other comprehensive bases of accounting (“OCBOA”), and general financial statement presentation

· Developing a thorough understanding of generally accepted auditing standards (“GAAS”), other attestation standards, and common audit procedures and techniques

· Assisting in identifying ways to provide additional value to clients

· Effectively perform as a team member and help to develop skill sets that contribute to overall team abilities

· Participating in community events and activities

Salary: $50,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
