Farmhouse77 Custom Woodworks is a family owned custom woodworking shop specializing in projects ranging from electric fireplaces, sliding barn doors, built-ins (bookshelves, banquettes, cabinets), accent walls, vanities, dining tables, desks, beds, and great service with a keen attention to detail. Our shop is located in Pflugerville and we service the entire greater Austin metropolitan areas. JOB DESCRIPTION:

The ideal candidate will be primarily responsible for building and installing custom cabinets using a variety of hardware and woodworking tools and will also assist with other shop projects when there are no cabinets on the schedule. Will, at times, be responsible for delivering projects to the jobsite and handle client questions during installation. Some of the tasks will include milling rough cut lumber, installing crown molding, cabinets, drawers, shelves, built-ins, electric fireplaces and applying finish to said projects.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Experience is a MUST; minimum 3 years in cabinetry
• Must have a valid social security number and a clean background check that is free of sexual and/or violent offenses.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine cabinet layouts
• Able to complete projects without constant supervision
• Able to use a variety of power and hand tools
• Must be motivated, detail-oriented, and organized
• Able to align, level and secure cabinets to wall studs or floors using screws or nails
• Able to hang and align cabinet doors, pulls, and hinges
• Able to connect cabinets together
• Able to fill and smooth nail holes with wood filler
• Able to sand, do paint-prep, and apply stain/paint/protective topcoat on cabinets
• Able to work in a fast paced environment
• Able to stand for long periods of time and lift 50 lbs.

JOB TYPE: Full-Time

PAY: $20 - $40 per hour; based on experience & fit
