An experienced Veterinary Technician is needed for our small Animal Hospital in the North Richland Hills/Keller/Southlake area. We are a growing practice that provides excellent patient care and customer service, we have a wonderful staff, with an excellent work life balance, and a very comfortable and inclusive working environment. We are also a drug and smoke free facility.

Candidates for this job opening are required to have *at least 2 years of Veterinary Technician knowledge and hands on technical experience at a veterinary hospital.*

Salary and benefits (Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance, Paid Time Off (PTO), Employee discount for pet services) and Profit sharing. Pay is negotiable and depend on the employee's experience, attitude and personal initiative. Candidates should have strong customer service skills, bedside manners, excellent work ethics, and should be dependable and self-motivated. They should be friendly with clientele and compassionate with patients. Candidates should have very good pet handling skills (Dogs and Cats) and should have experience with venipuncture, IV catheter placement (Dogs and Cats), Anesthesia monitoring and other surgery related skills and be familiar with digital X ray, Dental X Ray, Dental cleaning (dog and cat).

Long term work relationship expected. Suitable candidates should be willing to work both weekday and weekend shifts.
