Summary

Utilize account management and export control experience to ensure regulatory compliance for the company, and direct customers as-needed as to any requirements necessary for compliance. Oversee and mange customer accounts with prescribed strategies and business plans. Expand relationships with global client base and manage customer issues for the company.

Job tasks are carried out with minimal functional guidance or direction with a wide latitude for decision-making. These tasks are carried out in an environment that consists of recurring work situations with frequent variations from the norm. They usually involve a high degree of complexity/difficulty.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Establish and manage customer relationships and customer satisfaction through direct interaction across a variety of disciplines (procurement, engineering, operations, senior leadership, etc…)
  • Educate and communicate with global customer base regarding export compliance requirements of U.S. Bureau of Industry and Security (BIS), U.S. Department of Commerce (DoC), U.S. Department of State (DoS), and U.S. Department of Defense (DoD)
  • Track sales volume and manage reports to ensure alignment with budget.
  • Submit weekly reports.
  • Assist with management of customer order fulfillment by coordinating sales department responsibilities with production, technical, supply chain and QA departments to ensure on-time product delivery and complete customer satisfaction.
  • Assist Sales Leadership team in managing global distribution of products.
  • Leverage experience in U.S. Export Law to ensure regulatory compliance in various transactions.
  • Assess and manage contracts within scope of U.S. Export Control and have ability to assess international regulations related to end-use verification and controls on both materials and technology.
  • Interface with Legal and Compliance related to regulatory requirements. Guide and influence customers on actions required for compliance and ensure necessary documentation to demonstrate this compliance.
  • Manage flow-down requirements of various government contracts to ensure organizational compliance. Leverage past experiences with DFARS and DPAS for document and organizational management.
  • Use project management expertise to manage and influence cross-functional projects.
  • Develop timelines, schedules, Gantt charts, resource plans, and budgets to support project activities.
  • Develop full-scale project plans and associated communications documents.
  • Make recommendations and lead process improvement projects.
  • Define project scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management.

Education and Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or other applicable field and five to eight years experience in strategic sales and marketing or program management, preferably in the Aerospace industry with exposure to composite material or structures business, or equivalent combination of education and experience, required.

Aerospace experience required.

Experience is U.S. Export law and compliance strongly preferred. Proof of U.S. citizenship or active Green Card required.

Compliance with US Export Control Regulations: This position requires use of information which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or the Export Administration Regulations (EAR). Education

Preferred
