Clark Recruitment are delighted to be partnering with Endress+Hauser to recruit an External Sales Engineer. This is a full-time permanent position based in Cork.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

• Present and sell company products and services to current and potential clients.
• Maintain and develop relationships with existing customers via meetings (in-person & virtual), telephone calls and emails
• Prepare action plans and schedules to identify specific targets and to project the number of contacts to be made.
• Follow up and visit on new leads and referrals resulting from field activity.
• Identify sales prospects and contact these and other accounts as assigned.
• Prepare presentations, proposals and sales contracts.
• Develop and maintain sales materials and current product knowledge.
• Prepare a variety of status reports, including activity, closings, follow-up, and adherence to goals.
• Communicate new product and service opportunities, special developments, information, or feedback gathered through field activity to appropriate company staff.
• Gather market and customer information.
• Other duties as assigned.

Experience & Skills Required

• Engineering qualification to Level 7 or Level 8
• Previous experience in a similar role would be beneficial but not essential as training and development supports will be provided.
• Experience managing administration requirements requiring strong attention to detail
• Excellent communicator – verbal, written and presentation skills

Salary: €50,000.00-€60,000.00 per year

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
