Choice People are recruiting on behalf of their client Ballyfin Demesne for

Full Time Food & Beverage Assistants, available for various shifts.

5 Star luxury country house hotel in the heart of Ireland. Set at the foot of the Slieve Bloom Mountains in the centre of Ireland, Ballyfin is a place of history and romance, of tranquillity and great natural beauty. The guests have a variety of options to enjoy the catering experience, including room service, fine dining in the State Dining Room, picnics in the mountains and cocktails in the Glass Conservatory.

Location: Ballyfin, Co Laois

Rate of Pay: €11.25 - €12.50 per hour, Sunday Premiums apply plus gratuities

Hours: Full time hours 5/ 7 days

Requirements:

As a Food and Beverage Assistant / Waiter/ess you will be a passionate foodie who loves going the extra mile. Having experience in a luxuries establishment is of advantage. Being confident in communicating with patrons, and be able to create a 5 star dinning satisfaction for your guests.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Maintaining, storing and up keeping of table and glass ware
• Setting up tables for the various service periods
• Welcome guests in the appropriate manner
• Serve food and beverages to guests making recommendations if needed
• Share your menu knowledge to assist guests with questions and special requests
• Clean tables, complete closing duties and re-stock tableware and other supplies

The ideal candidates must have:

• Great conversational skills and teamwork-oriented
• Positive outlook and outgoing personality
• 2 years previous serving experience

Salary: €11.25-€12.50 per hour
