Level99 is a first-of-its-kind entertainment experience, which opened its proof-of-concept venue in Natick MA in June 2021. A massive World of Challenges, over 48,000 square feet in size, Level99 offers a physical open-world game environment where groups of 2-6 guests choose from over 40 rooms, each containing a unique physical or mental team challenge. Coupled with craft drinks and food in the Night Shift Beer Hall and an authentic brewery dining experience in the Night Shift Tap Room & Kitchen, Level99 is an exciting new entertainment experience designed for young adults. JOB DESCRIPTION
Role is located in Norwood, MA
The Fabricator is responsible for the construction, installation and maintenance of best-in-class physical sets and game content. Level99 Fabricators build game components working closely with the engineers, designers and project management to ensure that components are durable and scenic details are successfully executed. The Fabricator notates drawing packages to document details of the construction of rooms, arenas and hunts to continually improve designs after installation.
A Fabricator is passionate about getting the details right, anticipating staff and guest needs, and advancing the Level99 brand. A Level99 Fabricator has honesty and personal integrity that is above reproach, prefers a joyful and positive approach to challenging situations, chooses humility over the need to “be right,” and in all things acts as though you are the Owner and Operator of each Level99 venue.
Responsibilities of this position will include:
*Execute fabrication of complicated game, scenic, and structural elements *Maintain detailed, accurate, and up-to-date documentation on components *Assist with room/game installation and assembly *Fabricate and maintain attractions elements and the overall facilities, using skills/techniques that include: *Skilled craftsmanship in a variety of materials including wood, metal, plastics, etc. *Practical wiring of electro-mechanical devices and systems *Maintain up to date knowledge in the safe and efficient use of all relevant shop tools *Study and interpret shop drawings, sketches, wiring diagrams, and other design documents *Resolve assembly and production issues, report problems or errors promptly *Perform expert level finishing, painting, surfacing *Build mockups for internal and external review *Keep individual workspaces, and the building as a whole, clean, organized, and efficient *Prioritize personal safety and the safety of coworkers and guests in the day-to-day execution of duties *Occasionally attend and contribute to design and planning meetings *Complete administrative tasks associated with a successful professional role including: hours/timesheet/cost reporting, documenting costs, and maintaining a prioritized list of tasks *Continuously uphold Level99 brand and visual standards across all parts of the business, including product, experience and display standards, as well as environmental cleanliness and organization *Take initiative, seeing what needs to be done and assembling the resources to accomplish self-determined goals, in continual pursuit of improvement of our guest experience and venue performance *Follow the direction of supervisors and manage time effectively *Maintain a positive, upbeat, pro-active attitude and inspire the same in co-workers *Other duties, as assigned
While we don’t expect a candidate to have deep experience in all of the above, we’re looking for someone with the passion and capability to learn quickly in the areas that are new!

MUST-HAVE SKILLS
*Ability to work a flexible schedule based on business needs which may include days, nights, and weekends as well as emergency responsiveness to pressing technical or safety issues as required *Ability to travel for the installation process at new venues *Able to work ten hour-plus shifts, plus ability to stand, sit, squat or walk for extended periods of time, walk up and down stairs/ladders *Ability to read and comprehend technical drawings, manuals, and instructions *Able to grasp, reach overhead, push, lift and carry up to 50 pounds *3+ years hands-on fabrication experience and significant woodworking skills *Ability to interpret detailed shop drawings *Ability to self-manage time and resources in a low-oversight environment *Excellent verbal and written communication skills *Highly organized with strong attention to detail *High integrity and professionalism *High School education or equivalent *Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced, ever changing work environment *A positive, joyful, upbeat and energetic attitude – leading by example

- Advanced fabrication knowledge and hands-on skill working with wood, metal, plastics, etc
