Job description
The Facilities Coordinator will provide operational support for multiple facilities (Arlington, VA and DC). They will coordinate office activities and provide administrative support.
Responsibilities

Admin/General Operations Support
  • Supports day-to-day operations including timely response and coordination of service requests.
  • Coordinates/performs weekly inspections of the facility and engages maintenance/vendors when repairs/service is needed.
  • Prepares department reports, maintains departmental procedures, and assists with budget tracking and planning.
  • Provides on-site support for events, including meetings and conferences.

Facilities Project Management/Coordination
  • Demonstrates knowledge of project management practices and principles.
  • Engages vendors to assist with project and service related deliverables.
  • Demonstrates ability to research products and services needed in support of construction, maintenance, and general operations.
Incumbents in this role may be assigned other duties and special projects according to business needs.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent professional work experience
  • 2 years of facilities-related experience, which may include experience planning/supporting large-scale corporate events.
  • Candidates for this position with related industry certifications, demonstrated project management experience, and/or demonstrated advanced technological skills (including advanced Excel capabilities) may be preferred.
This role requires being in the office 5-days a week and may require occasional after-hours/on-call support.
