As a Facilities Electrical Power Distribution Technician your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Role model safety as an Intel cultural value
- Maintain facilities systems that support the Intel Ocotillo campus
- Perform routine preventative and corrective maintenance procedures
- Utilize Maximo Maintenance planning software
- Assignments are semi-routine in nature with work performed within generally defined parameters
- Some degree of judgment is required in resolving non-standard problems
- Work alongside an engineering team to enable the factory to operate optimally
- Interact with the factory and other customers and stakeholders

Qualifications
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Position not eligible for Intel immigration sponsorship.
Minimum Qualifications:
The candidate must have one of the following:
- Associate of Arts or Associate of Science degree with 1+ years of experience in electrical maintenance and troubleshooting of facilities equipment and systems.
- Military service with 1+ years of experience in electrical maintenance and troubleshooting of facilities equipment and systems.
- Journeyman Electrician License (any state)
- 3+ years of field experience in electrical maintenance and troubleshooting of facilities equipment and systems will be considered in lieu of a degree.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience with commissioning and maintenance requirements of electrical facility systems, such as electrical distribution (up to 15 KV), including emergency generators, switchgear, service entrance station, substation, uninterrupted power system, medium and low voltage breakers, motors, motor control centers, drives, and starters.
- Working knowledge of National Electrical Code (NEC), Recommended Practice for Electrical Equipment. Maintenance (NFPA 70B), and Standard for Electrical Safety in the Workplace (NFPA 70E).
- Skills to read one-line electrical diagrams, schematics, and blueprints.
- Recognize system and equipment deficiencies and take corrective action.
- Knowledge of facilities control systems infrastructure, operations, design, and commissioning.
- Expertise to pass CPR/AED training.
