Outline:

As a facilities engineer specialist you will be responsible for the efficient and reliable operation and maintenance of hard and soft surfaces for our client, leading experts in industrial facility management.
The successful candidate will work in Dublin. Our recruiters: are looking for someone with ideally a qualification in building services, or electrical/mechanical engineering and EHS experience for this critical facilities engineer maintenance position.
This position of facilities engineer would suit a candidate with the ability to multi-task and knowledge of health, safety and environmental systems and procedures.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Providing maintenance support to sites in Dublin.
• Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and regulations
• Work on your own initiative and as part of a team
• Ensure day to day maintenance needs are met
• Monitoring of the in house BMS & CAFM systems
• Provide prompt response to requests and issues from site occupants
• Conduct corrective maintenance for all business and safety critical equipment
• Conduct and documenting regular facilities inspections
• Plan and schedule of all maintenance activities in conjunction with the lead FM
• Carry out daily, weekly and monthly checks on equipment: MHE

Racking
Sprinkler system
Generator

• Respond to facility and equipment alarms and system failures (this includes out of normal working hours)

Essential Skills, Experience and Qualifications:

• Qualifications in building services, electrical, mechanical engineering or equivalent are desirable but not essential.
• HVAC and building services experience
• Knowledge of Health, Safety and Environmental systems and procedures
• Proven track record with planning, inspecting, and liaising with sub-contractors.
• The ability to multi-task and manage many priorities
• Computer Literacy
• Excellent communicator/strong interpersonal skills/communicates with impact
• Excellent record keeper and administration skills
• Plans and effectively manage projects
• Process driven and focused on EHS and Quality Work Management Systems and Processes
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role
